It is a normal thing to be overwhelmed, confused and can't take a decision on what to do about your wedding especially if it is this month or the coming one.
We are here to try to help you decide what is best for you. There is always a solution.
Now there are three kinds of people, the ones whom their wedding is just around the corner (this week or the coming one) and can't postpone everything last minute, while there are those who are thinking of postponing and those who are in between. We will tell you how to deal with both scenarios.
But first take a breathe and know you are not alone in this, the whole world is with you and we are here for you.
-If you still did not decide and you are confused:
It's fine, that's normal. Don't worry everything will fall right into place.
1. Get in touch with your guests, get to know if they are willing to come or not.
2. Call the venue manager, and the wedding planner, it gives you time to explore all your options, and know if there are new regulations.
3. Create a backup plan.
4.Think of having a smaller wedding, with a lower amount of guests to be able to control it.
- If you want to go on with your wedding:
We can't say you are not taking a risk because you are, but we will tell you how to take your precaution and you need to be understanding.
1. You need to get in touch with the venue, understand the new regulations, make sure they are on and don't have any cases. Also that they are already sterilizing the place and the people working in the place.
2. You need to get in touch with your guests, ensure they are okay to come and that they are willing to
3. Your suppliers, wedding planner, your team in general, call them and make sure that everything is under control, they are well, taking their precautions and are okay to come.
4. If everything is set, then you need to make deal with the venue to sterilize the place every now and then in the wedding, and even the guests.
5. Get masks, gloves and hand sanitizers and either put on each one's chair to make sure they take them or put them in the entrance.
6. Have a 'No kissing' sign at the entrance.
7. Try as much as you can to lessen the hours of the wedding.
-If you want to postpone the wedding:
You first need to be sure that this what you want and you need to be convinced as not to regret. Be aligned with your partner.
1.Move quickly, and save another date as many couples will be in the same shoes and you don't want dates to be all booked.
2. You need to call your team, tell them you postponed and lock with them a new date.
3. Check if the venue has cancellation fees or not, and postpone the wedding with them.
4. Create a contingency plan with the venue and the planner that have a 30-day (or longer) trigger date to cancel the wedding and move back up the date, should things clear up.
5. Inform guests with the new date.
